We share what we have – Frauenzimmer e.V.

 

Beautiful tableware alone doesn’t make the world a better place. That's why at Izanami we donate 10% of our profit directly to Frauenzimmer e.V., a Berlin-based organization that supports women and their children who are affected by domestic violence. Frauenzimmer e.V. was founded by women in 1986 and offers counseling and accommodation in anonymous safe houses.

The women and their children receive help recovering their personal documents, can move into secret safe houses, and receive psychological support.

Why do we do this?
Because we believe true beauty begins with responsibility.
Because we believe in solidarity – especially from woman to woman.
And because every laid table should also be a home, a place of safety – for everyone.
